Google’s Chrome is the latest main product from the company for its compact Gemini features. today In Google I/O.The company detailed its plans to bring AI to Chrome.

Although Gemini can already distract information from web sites, the presence of a baked assistant in Chrome allows it to provide visions and answer questions about the open tabs without the need to move to a different window or application. Instead, Gemini lives in a new list at the top of the browser window as well as in the taskbar.

The company imagines its assistant as being able to help with tasks that may usually require switching between several open tabs or scrolling into different parts of the web page. For example, Google showed how Gemini can advise the potential modifications of nutritional restrictions while looking at the recipe blog. GINI in the browser can also be useful during shopping as it can answer specific questions about products or even summarize reviews.

To start, Gemini will not only be able to answer inquiries about one open tab, but the company plans to add multiple capabilities to a future update. This would allow the assistant to collect information through multiple open tabs and answer more sophisticated questions. Gemini in Chrome will also have Gemini Live capabilities, for anyone more comfortable talking to the assistant using their voice. The company has also disturbed a future update that will allow Gemini to via the web pages on your behalf, such as requesting jumping to a specific step in a recipe. (It is worth noting that all of this is separate from the other Amnesty International that browses the web from Google, Mariner ProjectWhich is still a preliminary model for research.)

Gemini has started offering Chrome users to Mac and Windows today, starting with Ai Pro and Ai Ultra subscribers in the United States. The company did not indicate whether it is planning to provide similar features to Chromebooks or mobile application in Chrome.
