The shooting outside the Jewish Museum in the capital is alleged to Israeli diplomats

An investigation is being made in Washington, DC, after a fatal shooting claiming to include Israeli diplomats on Wednesday evening.

The Metropolitan Police Administration said that the shooting investigation was underway near the third street and the F -North West Street, where the Jewish Capital Museum is located.

Fox News confirmed that a man and a woman were killed in the shooting. More details were not immediately available.

Danny Donnon, the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, said the event was in the museum and the deadly shooting was “a corrupt act of anti -Semitic terrorism” in a statement published in X late on Wednesday night.

“Harming diplomats and Jewish society crosses a red line. We are confident that the American authorities will take strong measures against those responsible for this criminal act. Israel will continue to act firmly to protect its citizens and representatives – everywhere in the world,” he wrote.
