Leicester City has been referred to an independent committee by the Premier League due to the alleged violations of the rules of profitability and sustainability in the EFL for the 2023-24 season.
Foxes were deported to the championship, but a jurisdiction of this issue was transferred by the English Premier League court after Leicester’s upgrade in June 2024.
The Independent Committee will also evaluate two alleged violations – it has failed to provide accounts to the Premier League by December 31, 2024, and that they “did not provide” full, full and speed assistance to the Premier League in response to the league inquiries. “
