International business leaders and diplomats in Ottawa will converge today in an attempt to draw a road through a tariff war in the United States.
The B7 conference in the country’s capital is a partner of the G7 Summit specified for the next month in Alberta.
This year’s conference is dealt with as a commercial uncertainty, as US President Donald Trump is trying to cancel the global trading order with its definitions.
Among those who are talking today in Ottawa, the American ambassador to Canada House Husera and Niki Haley, the former ruler of South Carolina, who was the Trump competitor to Republican presidential nomination.

The attendees are also expected to talk about developing artificial intelligence with responsibility and protection of critical metal supplies, two sectors that Canada is looking to build its existence.
The head of the American Chamber of Commerce said before the events of today that the trade is the “basis” of the relations between the Group of Seven and urged the strongest trade relations within the group.

The strong relations were a repeated topic of talks between Prime Minister Mark Carne and his international counterparts after his victory in the last elections.
Carney spoke with Mexican President Claudia Shinbom on Thursday, when the Prime Minister’s office said they discussed “building a strong commercial relationship between the two countries, based on the agreement of countries and Mexico in Canada, and the need to strengthen the economies of each of them against future trauma.”
His office said in a statement that the leaders assigned senior officials to find ways to deepen bilateral relations.
Carney also spoke on Thursday with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Show, discussing trade and international security.
