Israeli strikes in northern Gaza kill at least 48, says the hospital

A local hospital says that at least 48 Palestinians were killed in a series of Israeli air strikes in northern Gaza during the night.

The Indonesian hospital reported that 22 children and 15 women were among the dead after a number of houses in the city of Gabalia and the refugee camp. A joint video clip appeared on the Internet showing at least dozens of bodies on the ground there.

The Israeli army said it was looking into reports. The residents of Gabalia and the surrounding areas have warned against evacuation on Tuesday night after a Palestinian armed group launched Racts to Israel.

This came at a time when the United Nations Humanitarian President urged members of the United Nations Security Council to take measures to “prevent genocide” in Gaza.

Speaking at a meeting in New York on Tuesday, Tom Fleischer accused Israel of “intentionally imposing inhuman circumstances and without shame on civilians.”

He called on Israel to lift the siege for 10 weeks on Gaza and criticized the United States’ plan to take over the distribution of humanitarian aid in the region.

The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danny, told the Council that external aid is used to help Hamas Al -Harbi’s efforts.

Meanwhile, US envoys in the United States, Steve Whistov and Adam Bouhler, said they would travel to Qatar for new negotiations on a ceasefire and hostage.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to expand his military attack in Gaza this week unless Hamas agreed to release 58 hostages still maintained.

On Tuesday, a huge Israeli air strike was killed at the European Hospital Complex in southern Gaza, at least 28 people, according to local officials.

Israeli media reports stated that the goal is Muhammad Sinwar, who is believed to have become the leader of Hamas in Gaza after the killing of his brother Yahya at the hands of the Israeli forces last October.

The Israeli army described it as a “accurate blow to Hamas terrorists who were working in a command and control center” under the hospital.

At least 52,908 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health in the region.
