TOKIO (AP) – The Japanese company Softbank Group registered its first profit in four years on Tuesday, as it made gains from its investment portfolio.

Tokyo -based Softbank for the fiscal year until March 1.15 trillion yen ($ 7.8 billion), which is the opposite of the 227.6 billion yen losses that rose in the previous year.
Annual sales increased by 7 % to 7.2 trillion yen ($ 49 billion).

Its investments include risks in the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba and T-Mobile, a European mobile communication group. Both have gained value during the recent period.
