Devils GM Tom Fitzgerd Dodges Question about bringing Quinn Hughes to NJ

Earlier last month, Jim Radford, CEO of Kannox, publicly stated that he believed Queen Hughes may want to join his brothersBoth play with New Jersey Devils.

However, the General Manager of Devils Tom Fitzgerald kept things quiet in an interview outside the team season while dealing with the matter.

“I will not speculate (about) another team player,” said Fitzgerald when asked about the addition of Hughes III’s brother.

“You have to ask Jim about the comment. For me, we will evaluate our own team, where we need to upgrade and some things. I can’t comment on another player.”

Quinn Hughes has not only left his current contract with Vancouver Canox. After that, he can choose to leave the team as a free agent, but he did not express his desire to play with his brothers in New Jersey.
