The Israeli embassy in London was a target of a terrorist conspiracy by Iranian citizens who were arrested by the British anti -terrorist police on Saturday, according to persons familiar with the investigation.

Five Iranians They were detained in coordinated arrests throughout England on Saturday, while three other Iranians were arrested in London in a separate operation.

So far, the UK authorities have not indicated to the suspects, although the capital police said on Sunday that the investigation of a “suspect is a suspect to target specific places.”

But the persons familiar with the investigation said on Wednesday that the five Iranians who were arrested throughout England were suspected of being part of a cell in the last stages of planning an attack on the Israeli embassy in Kinsington, west of London.
