Spacetop vision for Windows: Spatial Computing is here

Most applications should work well, but intensive applications such as video editing and photos may struggle. I was used primarily the multiple windows and marks of the chrome browser, and the Tigram correspondence was up, and rose to the left. I even released Zoom and was on the right during video calls. Adobe Lightroom Classic was given a snapshot, but the app has begun to behave strangely in Spacetop, so I didn’t use it. “We are still working to create advanced applications such as video editors or 3D graphics software running smoothly,” said Al -Basr on its website. Games are also located in this camp.

No one can look at your work, which is great to deal with sensitive information, and the only way to overcome the traditional laptop is to use a privacy screen. Currently, the laptop screen remains when it is in Spacetop, but people will only be able to see an empty desktop. Al -Basr says she plans to update that will turn it off to keep the battery life.

When talking about it, I did not use HP OMNIKA Ultra Flip as a normal laptop, so I can’t confirm regular battery statistics, but it seems that HP claims “battery life throughout the day”, and it seems that the various reviews of this laptop around the web confirm this. With the connection of the AR glasses and the operation of Spacetop, although you are more likely to get nearly three to four hours of use, depending on what you do. Within an hour and a half of use, the laptop battery life was cut in half.

I do not see that this is a big problem because most of the time is that Spacetop is likely to be in these short periods in a cafe or an airport lounge, or even on a plane. (There is a travel mode that allows you to use Spacetop in rapid movement.) Usually this is the case, it is likely that there is a place you can connect to your computer.

A lot that makes Spacetop joy to use is glasses. The text is somewhat sharp through the double OLED screen panels, although I hope the glasses have a wider view of 50 degrees. More importantly, this is not huge Apple Vision Pro– I wore Xreal glasses for more than three hours in one session, and I cannot imagine doing this with Apple VR headphones. Keep in mind that my eyes felt tired a little later after that, but I like to take it out not the incoming thing; It is just like removing a natural pair of glasses. I also don’t feel closed for the rest of the world – the loudspeakers integrated into the arms of glasses make them so that you do not need to wear earphones – and the entire system is much easier to travel with the glasses box.
