Kotak Mahindra has reported a 14 % decrease on an annual basis in an independent net profit for January 3 on May 3. The private sector lender recorded an independent profit of 3552 rupees for Q4 FY25.
Rulings and emergency increased during the quarter by more than three times to 909 rupees, reflecting the bank’s cautious approach in the quality of the assets.

The bank’s total income grew by 6.8 % on an annual basis to 3,182.5 rupees, while total spending increased by 14.4 % year on an annual basis to 11,240 rupees. The net interest margin of the lender (NIM) reached 4.96 % for the fiscal year 25 and 4.97 % for Q4FY25. Average average 15 % annual deposits jumped to 4,68,486 rupees in Q4FY25.
On the asset quality front, NPA (GNPA) reached 1.42 %, NNPA net at 0.31 %, compared to 1.39 % of gross national product and 0.34 % NNPA a year ago. The savings coverage rate was 78 %.
CASA was from March 31, 2025, 43 %; The credit to elementary credit was 85.5 %. The capital adequacy rate reached 22.2 %.
For the entire fiscal year 2024-25, the bank’s profit on an independent basis rose to 16,450 rupees compared to 13782 rupees in the previous year.
