The Winstein accused tells the jury about the alleged sexual assault: “What could not have been conceived.”

A former TV production assistant told the jury on Wednesday that Harvey Winstein caught her on the bed and forced to have sex by mouth after I told him: “No, no – that will not happen.”

“What cannot be conceived was happening, I thought anything that could not be conceived could happen. I didn’t know where it was finished.” Says Miriam Hali, who was giving up her eyes, recalls what was going on in her mind during the alleged July 2006 attack.

He shook Winstein, who was sitting between his lawyer, his head speaking.

Haley, who also went in the name of Mimi Haley, is the first accused in former Hongo Honcho to testify in the re -trial of rape. This happens because the highest court in New York canceled Winztein’s condemnation of 2020.

The 73 -year -old former studio head admitted that he was not guilty and denies sexual assault on anyone.

Haley witnessed the original experience and was frank last year about her mixed feelings about the repeated experience.

Winstein’s lawyers have not yet had their opportunity to interrogate her and may try to put holes in her account. But the defense sought strongly – if not logical – curbed Haley’s testimony by objecting to the questions of the prosecutors, such as multiple inquiries about whether it has any sexual interest in Winstein. Haley said she did not.

The defense argued that all of Winztein’s accused agreed to sexual confrontations with him in the hope of obtaining work in business.

Winstein faces new and ancient fees

Haley started her testimony on Tuesday by describing how she got to know Winstein, she worked shortly as a production assistant in his company’s reality program The runway project In June 2006 he had a series of interactions with him, which sometimes was inappropriate and suggestive, but at other professional and polite times.

Two months before she said he assaulted her in his apartment in Manhattan, Haley said she went to the Wincitin Hotel room to talk about possible jobs in cinema and television.

Haley said he commented on her legs and suggested that they give each other. She refused to advance and says that she exploded in crying as soon as she left.

“I felt surprising. I felt insulting,” she said. “It was just a kind of micro -feeling that he did not take me very seriously.”

Haley said that she was only looking for a professional opportunity-not sex or romance-with strong products at the time for an Oscar like that Shakespeare in love and New York Gangs.

Winstein’s re -trial includes accusations based on allegations of Halle and another accused of the original trial, Jessica Man, who was previously an ambitious actress. She claims that Winstein raped her in 2013.

Also, for the first time, he is being tried for a claim to force sex by mouth on the previous model, Kaja Sukola in 2006. Her claim was not part of the first trial.

Man and Soukola are also expected to witness at some point.
