The Pope died after health challenges in recent months, including hospitalization several weeks ago for pneumonia and complex lung infections, which require high levels of oxygen and blood transfusion.

With the death of the Pope, the Cardinals will meet in the Sistin Church in the coming days to elect the next Pope, which can be determined within two weeks.

Francis, who was the former Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergelio, was a candidate for dark horses when he was chosen in 2013 to succeed Pordek 16 in 2013.

The first Pope of the Americas was in the history of the church, and he was also the first to take the name of Francis – after he devoted the saint to the poor.

The apology received mixed reactions from the first nations and survivors from residential schools and even Canadian government officials. Francis’s position on social issues was not white and black, after he said no to the priests and gay marriage, and defined the abortion as the “most terrifying” in crimes.
