The poor are attached to the knees. The middle class in India is not: Money management is blind policy flags

The rich get richer and the poor get the poor is a familiar abstinence. But the director of funds, Rahul Jain, is developing: “Even the poor are now outperforming the middle class.”

In the LinkedIn post, Jain indicates that over the past 11 years, the medium income sector in India has not seen almost real growth-even as a low-income group advance forward at a faster pace.

According to him, the story tells the story. For a low -income group that gets less than 5 dollars per year, the income increased from $ 2.4 per cde to 3.6 dollars per cde, which is a complex annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.0 %.

On the contrary, the intermediate-income group that earns between $ 5 and 1 rupees-its income rises from $ 10.2 to $ 10.7, which reflects only a complex annual growth rate of only 0.4 %. Even high -income people, with more than 1 rupees, saw a marginal growth of 2.69 rupees to 2.83 rupees, reaching 0.5 %.

Jin notes the paradox: Although 53 % contribute to all tax deposits in the country, the middle class in India witnessed semi -zero growth in more than a decade. Meanwhile, inflation pushed steadily the cost of necessities – health care, education, and EMIS. At the same time, job markets are reshaped by artificial intelligence and automation, while pressing the traditional roles fill in the middle class.

“They are under pressure,” Jain writes. “They were excluded from social welfare plans that aim at the bottom and lack the financial leverage that benefits the first -class.”

“A lot of low income slice moves to the average income part-but as soon as they are in their stagnation. They climb the ladder. But the above mentioned degrees are missing.”

For him, this is not just an economic trend – it is a blind policy. The middle class plays a major role in building the future of the state through investment, consumption and savings. However, it is increasingly discovered in a place where upward movement slows down and the cost of living continues to climb.
