Bayer Leverkusen Xabi Alonso has chosen to avoid speculation regarding the potential movement of Real Madrid, and insists that the focus should remain along the final season.

The 43 -year -old Spain is among the names that are considered an alternative if Carlo Ancelotti leaves Bernabeu this summer.

Alonso’s impressive period in Leverkusen – which includes directing them to the unlocked German league title and winning a German Cup in his first full season – made him a hot administrative possibility throughout Europe.

Despite the rumors of confirmation, Alonso remained tight when he was asked about his future during his last press conference.

“It is not a good time to discuss the future. We are at a very important moment in the season.

“I don’t want to talk about speculation and rumors. (I understand) that this happens, but the most important thing for me is what is happening now.”

Currently, Leverkusen Trail Bayern Munich remained with six points with only five games in the Bundesliga campaign, and they did not leave rooms for deviations because they are pushing for another strong end and successive titles.

Fernando Caro, CEO CEO, has studied rumors about Madrid’s move, adding that Alonso feels “comfortable” in the club as he is already participating in planning for the next season.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp – another manager linked to Real Madrid – is unlikely to return to the side lines any time soon. His agent, Mark Kossic, told Sky Germany on Friday: “Jurgen is very happy in his new role as president of international football at Red Bull.”

As for Alonso, this is not the first time that it is in contact with the top clubs. Last year, it was linked to the administrative indications of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.

Alonso, a decorated player in itself, had a six -year Pastor with Real Madrid between 2009 and 2014, and the Champions League and the Champions League won.

He finished his playing days in Bayern Munich in 2017 before moving to training.
