Dan Da Dan’s look for Season 2 is more portentous than fun

The first (and very wonderful) season of Dan da dan It only finished a few days ago, and it didn’t take long for Science Saru to catch up Announcing the second season It was in production. This is good news, but great news? Jump Festa provided a first look at what’s to come for Momo, Okaron, and the rest of their buds.

Last we saw, the show was in the early parts of the “Cursed House” arc, and we saw the duo go on a journey with Momo’s childhood friend Jiji to exorcise an evil spirit from his house. While waiting for him to appear, it turns out that they may have misjudged the situation: Jiji and Okaron find a secret room in the house filled with spells, while Momo is attacked by a group of male villagers. The kids may have Turbo Granny with them, but they may be in a bit more danger from previous threats like aliens and Acro-Silky. And this is not even about the ominous excitement of “Avatar of Hatred” with the desire to wipe out humanity, and the special interest in the young man Jiji.

Dan da dan It’s always been a combination of horror and supernatural comedy, and this trailer leans more into the latter. You know how some TV or film writers will sometimes call the sequel darker than the first? It’s kind of like that; Where the first season’s trailers let you know you had a good time, this one wants you to be afraid for the gang as they figure out what’s going on and try to complete their mission. The brief glimpses of the big bad in the “Avatar of Hatred” arc give off more creepy vibes than the Turbo Granny incarnation, and it looks like things are going to escalate in very big ways.
