5 lifelong rupees can last in Vietnam or Thailand – but in Mumbai or Delhi, it may barely extend for a few years. Dhanel Gianani Legal Accountant says it is not only inflation in wealth, it is a site.

In a post on X, Jianani wrote: “5 rupees in Vietnam and Thailand will continue for a generation.

The note sparked a discussion online. One of the users who moved from Mumbai to Qiang May said that his expenses decreased by 70 %, describing “site arbitration” a real strategy to build wealth. Another said: “The same money buys staying on the metro, but a legacy in the smaller markets.”

Mathematics support them. In Vietnam, the monthly family expenses of four to 1.4 to 2 euros range. In Thailand, the costs are running $ 1.6-2 per cde, with rents much lower than they were on the Indian metro. At $ 2 per month, 5 rupees can last for more than 170 years on paper, although inflation and lifestyle options have reduced it.

On the contrary, the mid -class family expenses in Mumbai are on average 70,000 to 1.2 per month, with much main areas. Delhi ranges from 45,000 to $ 85,000. At a price of $ 2 a month, 5 rupees may last 25 years. As for luxury lifestyles on the metro, the “five -year -old” window that Jianani cited is not far -fetched.

The stark gap is in the cost of living: Southeast Asia provides cheaper housing, food, facilities, and health care. On the contrary, the Indian metro has costs at the global city level that quickly erodes wealth.

Comparison

  • Vietnam: ~ 1.5 dollars for Cham/month → ~ 277 years
  • Thailand: ~ 1.7 dollars for Cham/month → ~ 245 years
  • Mumbai: ~ 2 dollars for Cham/month → ~ 208 years
  • Delhi: ~ $ 1 Lakh/month → ~ 416 years old
