The GTA 6 mapping project has been ongoing for over two years, and fans have discovered many things from the upcoming game. The project began after the first leaks of Grand Theft Auto 6 in September 2022, and it is currently at version 0.047.

Five interesting details of the GTA 6 v0.047 mapping project
1) Other areas of the state of Leonida

While Vice City will be the main attraction of the upcoming map, the mapping project has also shown off the following areas:

- Gelhorn Harbour
- Lake Leonidas
- Redhill
- Hank Hill
- Delicious food
- Sea view
- Walk
- Yorktown
- Bohemia

2) New details about Gelhorn Port
Port Gellhorn is believed to be one of the main locations in Grand Theft Auto 6. While Rockstar Games has yet to officially render the area, the GTA 6 mapping project has provided a rough layout.
Initially, Port Gellhorn was thought to be a plain area towards the northwest corner of the map. However, GTA 6 Mapping project v0.047 showed that it contains a partially enclosed body of water with several important structures nearby.
The project also stated that the above scene (image) from the first trailer took place in Port Gellhorn.
3) Locations of leaked clips
