’39 MN Indians Certified by Medical Bill “: Blame Iitian Blame

Every year, 39 million Indians are directed to a deep poverty trying to pay medical bills, while private stock companies wander in profits from the deteriorating health care system in the country.

This dark evaluation comes from Ram G Vallath, an IIT graduate and growth coach, who has published a criticism of the health care crisis in India on LinkedIn.

“In India, 39 million people are paid annually to deep poverty due to the catastrophic health expenditures,” Valot wrote, adding that the nation suffers from “one of the lowest government spending on health care in the world.”

With public hospitals starving from financing and employees, patients are flooded with private hospitals – as global investment companies doubled. “This is a golden mine of private stocks,” he claimed. “Of course, they want great returns for big money.”

These returns, as he says, come at a human cost. The goals of the acute revenue for hospitals-even individual doctors-have created a system where unnecessary tests and high-price procedures are the base. “Fear of Doctors” is part of the business model, as claimed, designed to enhance profitability.

“The wealthy and those who have a paid insurance can bear this,” Valt said. But for the poor, the option is brutal: either selling lands and jewelry or obtaining high interest loans from sharks. He says that many Indian families are still besieged in the medical debts of generations.

Meanwhile, gifted doctors are increasingly flowing to high companies hospitals, deepening the decline in the public sector. “There are not enough doctors and poor quality in the public health system,” he wrote.

Vallath solution? A greater government investment and strict supervision of private hospitals. He asked: “What is the freedom of the nation”, if the people who make the nation cannot even bear the basic health needs of their loved ones? “
