Hello, from there,

Coach Matt Maires from Team Nerd Fitness here!

While Steve writes his news on Monday with stories to help you raise the level of your life in general, I asked me to provide more specific guidelines on health and fitness.

I have been doing this night for nearly Steve writing his news message.

(Actually, I sent an email to Steve in 2010 and we have been friends since then – and now work colleagues for 8 years!)

For 15 years, I had the honor to train many people. I had a front-class seat when people actually help to adhere to fitness goals-even when life became chaotic (which is what you always do).

Below are 3 lessons that you learned along the way – at least, our trainers use daily to help people with crowded life, big goals and brains that do not always want to cooperate.

Let’s get equal!

๐Ÿง  Lesson 1: There is no “natural”.

Tell me if this looks familiar …

“I just need life to settle a little … Then I will return to the right track.”

Yes. This version of “Normal”? It is a legend.

Life does not calm down. He – she Changes.

Whether it is a difficult week at work, gets sick, travels, travels, takes care of a family member, or just an attempt to keep your head over the water – it does not seem to have life does not settle for a long time.

Therefore, we develop a plan that expects these challenges, rather than something that hinders them.

In Nerd Fitness, we refer to this with the name โ€‹Communication modeโ€‹.

  • An alternative exercise you can do in 15 minutes at home when you are tense, tired and short at the time
  • Simple nutrition habits that you can back down in a pinch (i.e., eat protein with every meal)
  • A list of meals that you can get while moving to suit your goals and keep you on the right track

By having multiple ways to stay on the right track, you can continue to build momentum even when life is chaotic.

There is no normal. This is expected!

๐Ÿ”Ž Lesson 2: Zoom, Reduce

Have you ever thought about yourself,

“I want to get the shape, but I have to go so far.”

or,

“I used to be in good condition, but now everything feels it difficult

These are completely natural ideas! (๐Ÿ™‹โ€ I know that I got them!)

However, what I noticed over time is that these ideas often drain people from energy to persevere and continue.

So what is shedding?

This is where one of our favorite tools comes: Zooming, miniaturization.

EnlargementWhat should I do today?

Reduce (Every two weeks): Do I go in the right direction?

The enlargement helps you focus on your daily actions and avoid an endless cycle “I am not there.”

Instead, she asks:

โœ… Did you exercise today?

โœ… Did you get a protein and vegetables with every meal? etc.

Then, every 1-4 weeks, retreat and verify the largest image:

What is going well?

What was the challenge?

What needs to be changed or to be modified?

This rhythm-daily concentration with periodic checks with large images-how real change occurs.

โš– Lesson 3: Make it meaningful and implemented.

How do you know if the strategy is the right strategy for you?

Find the correct balance between the challenge and the implementation.

Very easy? The needle will not move.

Very difficult? You will not do it constantly enough to make a difference.

For every person, the right level of the challenge is different.

Macro units may follow every day and operate 3x/week.

It may go on a daily outing and set the priorities of fruits and vegetables in every meal.

Eating may be violently and slowly and creates a routine before bed for a better sleep.

There is no “correct” or “wrong” answer here. The correct level of the challenge will change for you over time.

Do not be afraid of experience and control until you find that sweet spot: Challenge enough to feel self, but it can be done enough to stay fixed.

These three lessons are an essential part of what we use within the Nerd Fitness training – and they have helped thousands of people get a great shape, even when life throws a curve.

Which one stood more for you?

Send me an email in(Email protected)– I would like to hear what you are doing.

I will send useful advice like this every week or so, so don’t hesitate to send questions you may have!
