The call was rejected by Palestinian groups and countries in the Arab world and described as “ethnic cleansing” by critics, including the Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
Hamas accused Israel of banning help
Gaza is now largely in a state of ruin and is still not clear how it will be rebuilt.
