2 Bears Escape Wildlife Park Albo, devouring honey supplies for 7 days, then falls asleep

The park said on Tuesday that two young bears fled from the box in a wildlife garden in the UK and loved a week from the food store before it was forgotten.

Mish and Lucy, between the ages of four, came out of the box in Weldwood Devon in southwestern England on Monday afternoon.

A park statement said that the couple made a mistake for their stores for food, as they mocked snacks, including the supply for seven days of honey. The garden was released video Lucy devouring food and “looks very happy with herself.”

The bears “did not pose any threat to the public at any time”, although visitors to the site were accompanied by a safe building as a preventive measure.

During an hour -long drama, the bears were monitored “continuously on the ground and through CCTV” until it was returned to the box by the guards and immediately fell “asleep.”

The garden said: “Our experienced team has acted immediately, after the applicable safety protocols, and I used successfully the recall training to encourage both bears again in the box without the need for any intervention.”

The police were at the scene and the investigation was underway to determine how the animals managed to get out. the Park said A “operational error” allowed the bears to escape, without a situation.

“This was an isolated accident, and we are conducting a complete internal investigation to understand how exactly it occurred and to ensure strong measures to prevent repetition,” the park wrote on social media. “While the structural safety in the bear container is still not supported, we take any operational expiry seriously.”

The garden, which covers 40 acres of gardens and forests, is home to a group of wildlife including brown bears, wolves and foxes in the Arctic.
